My wife bought me a custom leather cue case, otherwise known as my custom leather purse

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that I got my first pool cue by saving up Marlboro Miles. It was a simple two-piece cue that I have since learned would retail for around $75. I’ve come a long way since that first cue. While I don’t pretend to be of true elite status, my pool game has progressed to the point where I have won many local Chicago Tournaments, and have picked up several thousand dollars this year in prize money.

My wife told me that she was grateful that my pool hobby was more than paying for itself, because golf never did. She was so grateful, that she ordered me a custom leather cue case for my last birthday. After 15 years together, she knew exactly the color leather, style, and pocket configuration I was looking for. I tell friends that my wife bought me a beautiful custom built leather cue case. We joke that she bought me the leather purse I always needed.
